CreativeMix 2009 – October 16, 2009
We are in full production in preparation for our participation as an exhibitor (and attendee) at CreativeMix on October 22nd, 2009.
We will be showcasing our experience creation software in a fun and interactive fashion centered around the theme of “kid at heart”. Some of the physical props that will be central to the interactive elements are bubbles, balloons and marble runs. Several videos will support the physical interaction elements to combine everything into a story of keeping a positive attitude, keeping in touch with our inner child and how this affects and influences the flow of ideas, creativity and passion in life.
We’ve had the honour of meeting some exceptionally wonderful folks - we’ve interviewed young and old to chat about the “kid at heart” outlook on life. We hope you come visit us at the Roundhouse Community Arts Center (Yaletown, Vancouver) on October 22nd. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Nintendo of Canada, 20th Aniversary – September 18, 2009
Nintendo of Canada celebrated its 20th Anniversary this year - we produced 5 videos for their evening gala party and presentation. The “old timers” and some NOT SO OLD folks give us a rundown of the happenings, successes and fun moments of working at Nintendo over the years. Interviews were shot on location at Nintendo’s offices and in our green screen studio. We inter-cut these interviews with other photos and videos (provided). Not a dull moment to be had!
Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre – May 01, 2009
We produced a series of videos for the opening inaugural gala event of the Abbottsford Entertainment and Sports Complex (AESC). The videos were used to support the on stage acts of 3 comedic hosts - tours of fun things to do in Abbottsford, a meeting with Mayor, a spoof of some of the entertainment acts that would play at the complex and several “streeter” videos where we interviewed the general public about their feelings and opinions of the new complex.
Richmond Hospital rCare program – April 15, 2009
We worked collaboratively with Dene Rousseau of Authentic Dialogue to produce an educational video for the Richmond General Hospital. The aim of the video was to help staff garner a deeper understanding of a new approach to patient care called rCare. The rCare program is focused at creating a team approach to patient care - the complete team dealing with any given patient meets every day to discuss that patient’s health status, needs, medications, release dates and follow up care. Typically, medical teams work in more isolation. The rCare approach ensures the medical team works together to provide better care, resulting in shorter hospital stays.
The production incorporated extensive green screen footage (shot in our studio). In this session, rCare team members discussed the program and how it works. The team was then videotaped during a simulated rCare round. Images and other text messaging were inter-cut into the final production. The completed production was delivered on DVD for playback in a class room setting. We also provide web ready versions for intranet use.
Website update – January 20, 2009
Finally, our new site is up! Some other news will be posted shortly. We've received our RED ONE 4K digital camera to compliment both our off-site shooting and our green screen studio. So what is a RED 4K digital camera?.

Techmedia - Nokia smart POP shelf – March 26, 2007
We provided Techmedia with a complete solution to monitor a double sided POP stand incorporating 8 mobile handsets. The system triggered content specific to each handset and allowed for interactivity via a touch screen. An attract loop ran when no one was present at the stand. As soon as someone was detected, content switched, inviting the user to interact with the system further. At the same time, audio would begin playing, the system was silent prior to this in order to eliminate any annoyance factor. Further, upon picking up a handset, appropriate content was triggered. The system also ensured that other users would not interfere with the current user experience in progress - "smarts" we included in the system. This setup was rolled out to 50+ retail locations across Australia, the initial pilot took place in New Zealand across 20 stores 1 year prior.
Volunteer Vancouver annual report – March 09, 2007
We were responsible for producing the DVD component to Volunteer Vancouver's annual report package. We shot and edited several interviews which were also part of the DVD. Throughout the year so far we've also produced several podcasts that have been used as a great way to engage and educate visitors of Volunteer Vancouver's website.
