imageWe've recently completed a major update to the current Orientation presentation which also included the shooting and editing several new videos. In another little project (thumb above) we created a fun Christmas party "video invite", celebrating this year, their 40th anniversary.


Xantrex trade show loop – March 02, 2007

imageXantrex came to us to help them develop some dynamic promotional content that would be displayed in their trade show booth. We made the recommendation of using a 16x9 42" LCD screen in portrait mode, instead of their existing 4x3 20" LCD screen. We also wanted to eliminate the need of having to use a laptop to run the loop so we produced a looping DVD. The loop lasted about 3 minutes and delivered key brand messages about Xantrex's renewable power products.


Speaking engagement coverage – February 15, 2007

imageWe've been involved in covering several speakers as part of developing some online web video content through which each of the speakers can promote themselves. Some of the speakers include Mary Charleson of Charleson Communications, Cathy Russel and Becky Carroll of Petra Consulting Group


Fireworks Marketing Group – January 14, 2007

imageWe were brought on-board as part of the Fireworks team to produce a 10 minute video covering highlights of the Fisher Scientific National Sales Meeting held at the Fairmont Waterfront. It was a case of 'shoot-by-day, edit-by-night' to ensure the production was ready to be shown at the end of the sales conference. We also produced a few event bumpers (motion graphics) that helped promote the theme of the event - "On the Move".


Vancouver board of Trade – January 10, 2007

imageUpdated the promotional loop we developed to promote the Vancouver Board of Trade at functions and events. New imagery and content was added.


Fireworks Marketing Group – October 29, 2006

Scala InfoChannel5 introduction – August 18, 2006

imageWe are wrapping up production of an introductory video for the exciting release of the leading digital signage software platform, Scala InfoChannel. InfoChannel 5 will be released in September. We'll post a link to the video once it's available here. We were responsible for all aspects of the video piece which encompassed extensive motion graphics and animation, green screen video shooting, look and feel, etc.

OOH ads produced for VST Media – July 15, 2006

imageVST Media, Inc. is one of several Digital Signage clients we work with. Their network is unique and very targeted, check them out on the web here. Our work has included producing 7.5 second and 15 second ads (motion graphics, voice-over, music track) for Canadian Tyre, Mark's Work Wearhouse and The Source.


Habitat for Humanity, Vancouver – June 17, 2006

imageAnother project we're delighted to be involved with - Habitat for Humanity, Vancouver. We'll be responsible for shooting street interviews, event coverage, time-lapse photography (construction of a house in front of Canada Place) and assembly and editing the final story.

Sunrise Soya Foods – June 13, 2006

imageOur most recent project with Sunrise Soya Foods coincided with their 50th Anniversary. We helped Sunrise put together a video press release kit (interviews, b-roll, etc.) as well as a corporate video that showcased their history and current production facilities.


Klondike Kids promo videos – June 13, 2006

imageKlondike Kids came to us to help them produce some video materials - introduce the company and their products to potential clients through tradeshows, direct mail DVDs and web video. We were also responsible for shooting interviews, both in NY (second crew) and Vancouver, as well as shooting b-roll at their manufacturing facilities.


Volunteer Vancouver projects… – March 05, 2006

imageWe're pleased to continue our video and speaker support presentation sponsorship of the Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards, its 19th year. We are responsible for producing and editing all the video segments for the evening which are made up of interviews, b-roll, photos and graphics. We will produce over 36 videos as well as the evening's on-screen presentation. Together with Shirley Weir of Leap Frog Marketing, we get the stories that make these volunteers stand out in our communities.

We're also wrapping up a DVD based AGM handout. This is an exciting approach compared to the regular print based AGM brochure/booklet. A PDF file will also be included on the DVD for viewing from a computer. Video materials on the DVD will come from events we have covered for them throughout 2005/6 as well as special dedicated materials highlighting the years achievements.


Webmercial for Sherlock Communications – February 24, 2006

imageTogether with Sherlock Communications we are producing a series of webmercials for VIHA (Vancouver Island Health Authority) and the BC Cancer Agency. The videos will be informative and aimed at educating teens about the dangers of UV and how they can protect themselves. One of the video segments uses a teen cancer survivor who relates her story, advice and perspective on this topic. The video clips can be found under "Our Work" "video".


Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society – February 08, 2006

imageWe are currently producing a 6 language (English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian and Arabic) DVD program, "That's What's Different About Me", for the Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society. Distribution will be done through the Autism Asperger Publishing Company. We have been responsible for all translations, production, shooting, editing, DVD authoring and graphics work.


BC Housing Service Plan presentation – February 01, 2006

imageThe speaker support presentation was completed with Robin Sauv? and Midlyn HR. The production included shooting a number of interviews with staff, production, editing, graphics and presentation programming. This presentation was used at the Service Plan Update event held at the Hyatt in Burnaby and will go out to all managers for delivery to staff.


Ubiquity promo video wraps – January 18, 2006

imageThe Ubiquity promo video included the shooting several interviews and b-roll at the Museum of Anthropology, development of a fresh video presentation style, a 3D animated opener and final editing. The final video production was delivered in DVD and web formats. The video clip can be seen in the video section of our portfolio.

A successful seminar, diVA officially unveiled – November 03, 2005

Feedback received from our seminar on digital signage at the Fairmount Hotel Vancouver has been very positive.

diVA was officially launched at the seminar and certainly created the response we'd anticipated. A snippet from the initial informational videos on diVA, as well our press release, will be available on our website this Friday. Expect to hear and see much more of diVA at a number of upcoming international digital signage/CAN expos and tradeshows.

NSCU Q4 digital signage update – September 28, 2005

Nintendo merchandiser videos – September 19, 2005

imageWe recently completed several short videos that were played at a Nintendo merchandisers conference. We captured various skits that we acted out by key staff - these skits were a fun way of presenting information to merchandisers. We also provided a menu driven DVD which included a bunch of other stuff. As always, we had great fun working with everyone.


Chorus Marketing – September 15, 2005

imageOur most recent project with Francis of Chorus Marketing involved the shooting and editing of a short AGM report, on video. The video included comments and feedback from key people that shareholders wanted to hear from.


2C officially launched – September 07, 2005

VST Canada - motion signage templates – August 24, 2005

imageOur project with VST Canada (the guys that do all the Esso digital signage as well as a host of other large corporate clients) involved the development of a new look to their content modules as well as the production of a series of easy to update templates. The templates included 3D animation and motion graphics. I don't believe we've seen them here in Vancouver, but understand that they're on their way. This is just part of their North American wide network.


Launch date is just around the corner – August 19, 2005

imageWe've been saving all our updates for the official launch of 2C Visual Communications. The 2C transition will include an update on the various projects that have been keeping us busy this summer, several new additions to our website, a completely revamped blog, new branding materials such as business cards, signage, packaging, etc. We'll be posting details on our PASSION campaign and the call for you to get involved - and benefit from a little shameless promotion on us, as well as a glimpse as to what you can expect to see in our upcoming video newsletter.


DVD and print project for Scala wraps – August 01, 2005

imageThe materials completed included a marketing DVD compilation of 5 videos which we produced, a data section to the DVD which was made up of many sample scripts, a 30 day demo and a host of other video files and clips. We also helped Scala create their new print materials - business cards, letterhead, folder, VAR kit, etc.


New name, new branding, new products, new video clips… – June 21, 2005

Our move to a new trading name (2C - to see..., to capture..., to communicate...) and our new look, has been taking place over the last month or so. We will soon reveal our new business card and all that stuff, as well as a more focused marketing and business plan to help continue our growth and service to our clients. We will also reveal some of our new marketing materials and campaigns aimed at showing a side of Everlasting you may not have been fully aware of. We'll certainly welcome any and all feedback once the veil has been lifted. Together with this, we are extremely excited about our revolutionary new digital signage product - we believe it will pave the way for the next big step forward. Details will be posted here as well as on our dedicated digital signage website - http://www.digitalsignagealive.com We have focused on a tool that will be of benefit to marketers, agencies and consumers alike. We have always been for the consumer when it comes to this technology, this has hardly however been the case of most digital signage installations and applications. Well, this is all about to change! NSCU - two projects updates – May 24, 2005

imageThe E-Signage update involved adding various new messaging modules. These modules included branch specific information such as account managers and events, new campaign messaging specific to the second quater of 2005 and the developement of a few new video message segments for the Park Royal Discovery Wall. We shot the video a few months ago up in Squamish as part of their regular photo shoots. This new video footage was to support on screen messaging. We also developed a new look and feel for the Campaign messaging. The new look was developed for both the landscape or portrait screens running within the branches. Video production delivered on DVD - the short video segement, delivered by Mike Watson, would be used to bring staff up to date on several exciting new developements materializing over the next few months within the credit union and also encourage staff to keep up the great work.


Vancouver Port Authority video – May 23, 2005

image2c was hired to gather information from passengers about their experience from the time they arrived at Canada Place until the time they boarded their various ships. We were given a set of question to cover and left to approach passenegers and chat with them while capturing everything on video. This feedback and information would be used to help the Vancouver Port Authority improve areas found challenging by passengers.


Second video newsletter available – May 08, 2005

imageSeveral months in the making... our feature article "Marketing to Women", hosted and written by Mary Chareleson is now available, as part of our quarterly video newsletter. This mini documentary is sure to offer some useful tips if you're thinking of targeting woman as part of your marketing efforts. The video newsletter also includes an overview of some of our recent projects, not yet up on our website, as well as several interviews. Please complete our online newsletter request form to receive your copy on CD-ROM. We encourage you to chat with us about our next feature story, which is open for grabs at this point in time... Yes, we will produce a full length mini documentary on any marketing topic you'd like to research or explore with us. We will provide our time to produce the piece as well as provide our services to shoot, edit and produce the final production. All we ask is that you commit to seeing the project through with us. Producing something like this without all the resources we bring is costly - this is a great opportunity to work with us and a great way to produce helpful materials for the marketing community at large, further showcasing your expertise in the market place.


Second promotional video - Scala, Inc – April 14, 2005

imageAs part of the on going project with Scala, Inc., the developer of the well known InfoChannel digital signage software solution, phase two of our project wraps up with deliver of this marketing video Scala really believes in helping its resellers simplify the selling process of their software. This series of video segments has been developed to help potential clients get a quick understanding and overview of InfoChannel software solution, by VARs, either in face to face presentations or via the web. At the same time, clients are educated about terminology and with simplified diagrams, able to get a good understanding of what digital signage is all about and how it can help them overcome everyday challenges. InfoChannel is a well matured product, it is extremely flexible and we are extremely happy to have been chosen to develop the series of videos. First of two promotional videos… – March 17, 2005

imageWith our extensive knowledge of Scala's software products (http://www.scala.com), it was great to have an opportunity to pour our passion and belief in their software into some marketing materials. This first video was developed to give a quick overview of their current InfoChannel3 software package. A second video is currently in post production. Shooting has already been completed. This video will take you through the software package following the entire process, from creating content to actually seeing it play on remote screens. This will not be CG intensive as the first production, instead you will be introduced to a host and then join him as he stops along the way looking at each package that makes up the complete end to end solution. Take a look at the first video here. Stay tuned for the next video which will be completed shortly. Further modules to the project related to specific applications will follow that. Did you know: We have been using Scala's software for over 10 years, we are also Western Canada's approved VAR.


Spa Utopia digital signage goes live – March 04, 2005

imageFor our newest digital signage client, Spa Utopia, we provided a turnkey solution - software, computer hardware and developed all the content and program structure. While part of our service offering, for this project we did not provide the plasma screen or enclosure. To take a look at a small snippet from the animation and creative work we did, take a look here. As with several of our other digital signage clients, we take care of on going remote updating of all content playing on their screens, after the initial project has concluded. Updates are simple and painless - we're simply emailed text copy and images, from this we develop the messaging and upload it once approaved. With our digital signage infrastructure we have complete feedback on the state of all remote sites as well as proof of playback. Orientation video and speaker support presentation… – March 02, 2005

imageEverlasting is working with Midlyn HR Communications to produce an orientation video and speaker support presentation for BC Housing. The project has involved extensive location shooting - employee interviews, b-roll, etc. We've entered the post production phase of the video aspect of the project. The speaker support persentation, which will include all the video segments, is currently in production. Did you know.... in the last project with Midlyn the final production won two communication awards from the IABC - a Silver Leaf national award and a Blue Wave provincial award. Several new digital signage installations… – March 01, 2005

It's been an exciting 2005, with three new digital signage installations so far this year. The installations include the North Shore Credit Union with the inital flaship branch at Park Royal, iCapture's 12ftx16ft video billboard in Chilliwack and Spa Utopia at the Pan Pacific. We are currently developing a video case study on the North Shore Credit Union project which will feature interviews and reasoning behind the adoption of E-signage within the branches. For those wanting to adopt something similar, if you've been approached by other companies wanting to sell you a solution, we will cover a few things you may not know when selecting a team to provide you a turnkey solution.
